Since June 2024 we have been having monthly services in Wishaw to see about the possibility of having a church plant there in the future. The Reformed Presbyterian Church in Wishaw began in 1787. Sadly, the doors on Kenilworth Avenue were closed in 2005, with the members travelling over to Airdrie Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Our Session in Airdrie is praying about what to do with the former Wishaw church building. We believe that there is an opportunity to reach out to people in the town to tell them the good news that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Our congregation in Airdrie is not large and we are not able to have services in Wishaw every week, but we hope that this work will grow with the Lord’s blessing.
Please feel welcome to come along to our services. They last about one hour with tea/coffee afterwards.
