November Good News

The November edition of Good News is now available to download.

From the Editorial:
I hope that you find this edition of Good News helpful. The contemporary article and the practical article on the stewardship of our money are thought-provoking. I’m thankful for Mark Sampson writing for us. I got to know Mark very well at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary where he served as Director of Institutional Advancement. He is someone who has given the topic of stewardship a good amount of thought.

We have quite a bit of historical content this month. Joey Dunlap continues his excellent series on the 1650s. We want to thank him for his work, especially as he has been balancing full-time pastoring with working on his PhD. Our reprint is a sermon by Rev. William Anderson (one of my personal heroes from the nineteenth century). It is beautifully devotional, dealing with the topic of death and the eternal security of the believer. Additionally, I was requested to include some of the content from our 200th Anniversary celebrations in Airdrie for the sake of those who were unable to be there. It was impossible to replicate what we did, but I have tried to give a little flavour by giving a brief history of the congregation.

As always, we are delighted to hear feedback from our readers and we would encourage you to share our magazine whether physically or electronically.
