New Members and Baptism

On the 22nd February the Airdrie congregation was delighted to receive into membership Ed and Mairi Wynn along with their five children. The Wynns have been attending our monthly services in Wishaw, and then committed to coming to Airdrie each Lord’s Day. On the same Lord’s Day, we observed the sacrament of baptism as their youngest child, Grace, was baptised. Rev. McCollum preached on Hebrews 11:23 on the theme of the beauty of the covenant child, and the parental obligations to raise them in God’s ways. The congregation enjoyed a lunch afterwards. The whole day was one of great encouragement to the congregation, and we are thankful for this evidence of the Lord’s blessing upon us.
